Kelly Pflug-Back on These Burning Streets, Women, and Prisons

Kelly Pflug-Back is a published poet and author as well as a well-known activist for her work in anti-poverty and harm reduction organizing. Kelly recently spent seven months in prison at the Vanier Correctional Centre for Women for her alleged participation in the riots during the G20 protests in Toronto in 2010. She will be launching her poetry book “These Burning Streets” in April in Montreal. Kelly joined CKUT's Friday Morning After on the phone from Toronto.

The speaking tour is organized by the Women's Coordinating Committee for a Free Wallmapu.
