Dunham, Quebec – Around 100 people marched through the main street of Dunham, Quebec yesterday to protest the construction of a oil pipeline pumping station in the community. The pumping station is a fundamental piece of infrastructure for the completion of the Enbridge Trailbreaker pipeline project, which would move tar sands bitumen from Alberta, through Montreal to Portland, eventually ending up on tankers bound for the Gulf Coast of Texas. 

The march began at Parc L'Envol, where Climate Campers held activities for local children, including making a large banner covered in the oily handprints of local children and stating "Arretons le Flot de la Destruction" (Stop the Flow of Destruction).

The march was organized as part of the Quebec Climate Action Camp currently underway in Dunham.
