Hundreds of people from dozens of community and social welfare organizations from across Quebec took part in a blockade of the Montreal Stock Exchange today.
The groups are united in a coalition against the provincial government's plans to either raise or initiate fees for a variety of public services, ranging from tuition fee hikes, to increases in hydro rates, to the $200 yearly health tax, set to come into effect in 2012.
