Quebecois man talks about the shift in understanding of identity from colonised (by anglophones) to coloniser (Quebecois in relationship to indigenous people). Oka. Self education, building relationships. Connections between colonialism, capitalism, patriarchy, empire. The strength of learned ideology and the difficulty of breaking things down. Decolonisation is everyone's job. The break between a sovereign Quebec interests, and interests of indigenous peoples. Official apologies in the face of policies that continue to cause illness and death. My terrible french language skills. This interview is in french.
