In this segment of Dispatches from Dakar we hear a presentation by author Naomi Klein given in Dakar, Senegal, focusing on climate justice struggles globally and the importance of confronting state and corporate attempts at geoengineering the environment. Klein speaks about contemporary climate catastrophes such as the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico as a tipping point on environment globally and the importance of the upcoming climate justice mobilization in Durban South Africa against the UN-backed Climate conference in November and December 2011.
