Join Cinema Politica Concordia for the Quebec-premiere screening of VALENTINE ROAD, a troubling doc that looks at homophobia, hate crimes and the plight of LGBTQ teens in the states. The doc focuses on the homophobic-spurred murder of 15-year-old Larry King, the media’s sensational response, and the shortcummings of educational and legal institutions in dealing with such acts of violence. The screening will be followed by a virtual Q&A with director Marta Cunningham. Entrance is by donation.
