L'Épouvantail Néo-Féodal: Effondrement, Seigneurs de Guerre et
Ingouvernabilité

Cet atelier explore les «formes de vie» qui remplissent le vacuum laissé
par un État «voyou», affaibli ou effondré. À l'aide d'exemples
historiques, de théorie radicale, d'éléments de culture populaire et en
s'appuyant sur notre imagination nous tracerons une esquisse du paysage
post-étatique. Nous réfléchirons aux forces et aux faiblesse des
anarchistes dans un environnement post-étatique et à la nature
changeante des luttes face à un État plus agressif ou dysfonctionnel.

Cet atelier cherche aussi à réfuter une critique anarchiste-sociale de
l'insurectionnalisme et à confronter ouvertement les peurs et les
inhibitions qui poussent certains d'entre nous, à s'ériger en défenseurs
involontaires du statu quo.

Il est recommandé de lire "Thinking about Warlordism" sur le blogue
Sketchy Thoughts pour une intoduction au sujet dans une perspective
antagonique. Être familier avec les écrits de Tiqqun, du Comité
Invisible et d'Alfredo Bonanno, serait utile, mais ne constitue pas un
pré-requis.

The Neo-feudal Scarecrow: Collapse, Warlordism and Ungovernability

(English with translation to french)

This workshop will explore the «forms of life» that fill the vaccuum left by a failed, weakened or collapsed State. We will use historical events, radical theory, pop culture and our imagination to draw a sketch of post-State landscapes. We will reflect on the strengths and weaknesses of anarchists in such a post-State environment, and we will explore the changing nature of struggle in the face of an increasingly repressive and dysfunctional State.

This workshop is also an attempt to refute a social-anarchist critique of insurrectionalism, and an exercise in facing the fear and inhibitions that may lead some of us to become involuntary defenders of the status quo.

Reading "Thinking about Warlordism" from the Sketchy Thoughts blog may be useful. As an introduction to the subject from a contrarian point of view, familiarity with the writings of Tiqqun, Comité Invisible and Alfredo Bonanno may be useful but aren't a prerequisite.
