Une nuit, pour les poètes insurgentEs et autres artistes du mot-dit, à
partager leurs compositions. Une nuit pour explorer l'aspect personnel et
poétique de la résistance à travers la performance. Un espace ouvert pour
partager et présenter de la poésie, du hip hop et du spoken word engagé,
et pour se rassembler pour partager nos mots résistance. Si le temps nous
le permet, à la suite des performances, une discussion sur le potentiel
radical de l'écriture de textes (en général ou par rapport aux textes
performés) – ou de la cacophonie générale. L'intention future de la soirée
est la création d'un zine anarchiste/anti-capitaliste de poésie et de
textes courts.

Night of the Warrior Poets

(Bilingual)

A night for insurgent poets and spoken artists to share their
compositions; a night to explore the personal and emotional aspects of
resistance through performance. An open space to read or perform
political-themed poetry, hip hop and spoken word, and to come together
through sharing our words of resistance. Time permitting, the performances
will be followed by discussion of the potentially radical implications of
the written text (in general or in relation to the texts performed
specifically) – or by general socializing. A future intention of the
evening is the production of an anarchist/anti-capitalist zine of poetry
and short texts.
