Projection de film & discussion sur "The Spook Who Sat By the Door"

“The Spook Who Sat by the Door” (1973) raconte l'histoire d'un homme noir

Englais)

Film Screening & Discussion of "The Spook Who Sat By the Door"

"The Spook Who Sat by the Door" (1973) is the story of a black man hired
as a token minority employee for the CIA who quits his menial gig to
become a revolutionary leader. He helps organize young people in his
community, steals weapons, and attempts to start a race war in order to
topple the white supremacy in the US. The film was banned right after its
release due to its revolutionary content and could not be found until
2004.

We will try to have a discussion after the film about race, white
supremacy and revolutionary struggles. (Film in English)
