Yafa Jarrar is a Palestinian activist and organizer based in Ottawa. CKUT sat down with her during the People's Social Forum to talk about the Palestine solidarity assembly happening at the forum, the links between Indigenous struggle in Turtle Island and Palestine, and recent developments in the case of her mother, Khalida Jarrar. Khalida Jarrar is an elected member of the Palestinian Legislative Council living in Ramallah, occupied Palestine, and a long-time activist with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). She was recently issued an internal expulsion order by Israeli occupation forces, but is resisting her forced displacement to the city of Jericho. You can find more information on her case here:
