Speaker:
>> Ali Yerevani ~ (@aliyerevani), has been a social justice and anti-imperialist fighter for more than three decades and is the political editor of Vancouver-based Fire This Time newspaper and the Battle of Ideas Press. Ali was an active participant of 1979 Iranian Revolution.
Ali will discuss the recent presidential election in Iran within the context of the US and Iran’s relationship, the imperialist imposed civil war in Syria and the dynamics of war and occupation in Iraq and Afghanistan in relation to Iran. As well, he will discuss the significant and impact of election of Dr. Hassan Rohani as the new Iranian President inside and outside of Iran.
