Quebec's Plan Nord a development on par with Alberta tar sands

Large mining corporations from Canada, Europe and China are eager to become involved in a plan to extract resources from an area of Quebec that encompasses three-quarters of the province's landmass. Many First Nations are opposed to Le Plan Nord, as are environmental groups in Quebec. Roger Rashi is a political activist in Montreal and founder of Quebec Solidaire.
