We will be joined by our friend and ally, Mel Bazil from the Wet’suwe’ten Nation, currently fighting to shut down the Enbridge Northern Gateway project in central BC, along with a handful of gas and diluent pipelines, all part of the expansion of the tar sands gigaproject. Mel is a co-founder of the Lhe Lin Liyin, a grassroots Wet’suwe’ten group fighting these projects and asserting their sovereignty on their traditional territory.

Join us at 7:30 p.m. for a free dinner and stick around to find out more about these struggles as we draw the links together, and learn more about CJM’s newest campaign taking aim at Enbridge.
