March in support of the peoples' struggle in the Middle East and Africa!

3:00pm
Sunday March 20 2011

Venue: Egyptian Consulate
Address: 630, boulevard Rene-Levesque Ouest
Cost: gratuit/free

Support the peoples' struggle in the Middle East and Africa!

Enough of the brutal dictators trampling on the rights of the citizens.  Rulers hoarding the wealth of their nations while violently suppressing any opposition must be stopped!  The people, tired of living in fear and poverty, demand democracy and basic human rights.

There will be no compromise.  We will not settle for a dictatorship in disguise – only true democracy, with no foreign interference.

The World Social Forum has called for a day of international solidarity with the uprisings of the Arab and African people, whose every advance supports the struggle against oppression and inequality for all peoples.

Bring your friends, noise makers, signs, and flags to show support in a peaceful way.  On Sunday March 20th 2011, we will march from the Egyptian Consulate to Phillips Square.

We need volunteers to speak at, help organize, and document the event.
