Join Cinema Politica Concordia for a screening of the ever-popular PARIS IS BURNING! This classic queer doc captures the 1980s African American, Latino, gay and transgender ball culture of New York City, and shows how these raucous celebrations were collectively taken as powerful expressions of personal pride. With author Lucas Hilderbrand in attendance for a post-screening Q&A. Entrance is by donation.
