Join Cinema Politica Concordia for the screening of THE PEOPLE OF THE KATTAWAPISKAK RIVER, a moving documentary about the aboriginal community in Canada whose members sparked the Idle No More movement. The film explores the housing conditions on the reserve, and reveals the hidden realities of extreme poverty that has been so easily hidden and ignored. Director Alanis Obomsawin will be in attendance for a post-screening Q&A.
