In Honour of Womyn's History Month: Dolores Chew on upcoming talk titled "The 'Laxman Rekha' and Women's struggles for Autonomy in Hinduism"

October is Womyn's Herstory month. On October 20th, the South Asian Women's Community Centre in Montreal will be hosting a talk by Dr. Dhruvarajan titled "The 'Laxman Rekha' and Women's struggles for Autonomy in Hinduism". Doctor Vanaja Dhruvarajan is a pioneer of anti-racist feminist studies in Canada. On Wednesday's Morning After, we spoke to Dolores Chew, a Montreal feminist, activist, member of the South Asian Women's Community Centre and professor. She has been involved in organizing this event and discusses with us what the center stands for and about the upcoming talk.

Aired on: Morning After, Wednesday October 17th, 7-9hr.
