CKUT's Off the Hour: RAP THE NEWS with Remi Kanazi

This piece was originally aired on CKUT's Off the Hour on Friday, October 26th, 17h-18h.

CKUT's Community News Collective is inviting Montreal's greatest hip hop artists and spoken word poets to come and RAP THE NEWS. We are celebrating CKUT's 25 years on the air & the annual Funding Drive.

Remi Kanazi is a poet, writer, and activist based in New York City. He is the author of Poetic Injustice: Writings on Resistance and Palestine.  He joins us in-studio to RAP THE NEWS.

This is the one time of the year we ask you to donate to help keep independent, community-based, volunteer driven, daily one air news program, Off the Hour and the radio station behind it.

Pledge lines are open: 514 907 9424 or www.ckut.ca.
