CKUT's Off the Hour; Rap the News with Nomadic Massive, Alquimia Verbal and Zibz

For our last Rap the News edition of Off the Hour, local rappers and hip-hop artists from the Montreal community joined us live in studio, performing orginal songs and discuss with us, the importance of community radio.

Nomadic Massive are a Montreal based hip-hop group that rap in English, French, Creole, Spanish and Arabic. They are known as advocates for social justice and represent a cross-cultural collective.

Alquimia Verbal are a young Mexican duo also based in Montreal. Initially gaining recognition in the underground hip hop scene, they have made a name for themselves in the Montreal music scene. They perform both in French and Spanish.

Zibz, likewise is a Montreal based hip-hop arist.
