CKUT's Tom McNeil spoke with Jordan Flaherty, author of Floodlines, from New York City, post-Irene, to talk about six years after the other major hurricane to rip into a well-known American city – Hurrican Katrina. He helped us answer the questions: how do Katrina and Irene compare and how do we prevent the devastation and injustice still rampant in New Orleans.
Jordan Flaherty recently published an article entitled, Battle for New Orleans, 6 Years After Katrina, in The Root.
This interview originally aired on CKUT's Off the Hour on August 30th,17h-18h.
