CKUT's Off the Hour: Harper Government Role in Torture Exposed in Ottawa

Documentary highlighting Canada's Quiet Role in Torture Abroad

The “Tour of Torture”, a three day long demonstration about Canada's involvement in torture that occurs around the world, took place in Ottawa this October.

Demonstrators took a tour around the city holding speeches in front of organization and governmental institutions to speak about their involvement in torture.

Matthew Behrens, a community activist and organizer of the tour, gives background information and speaks about the media coverage aswell as the protesters' experiences with the RCMP.
