Wednesday, November 2nd, Freedom Waves to Gaza ships reached international waters, marking the beginning of the Freedom Waves to Gaza campaign. The name is an indicator of plans to continue sending flotillas in attempts to break the Israeli blockade. The organizers are supporting Palestinian people. The ships are carrying medical supplies and are using this direct action tactic to disrupt the blockade.

Just a few hours ago, footage of the Israeli Defense Force hijacked the Canadian ship the Tahrir and the Irish ship, the Saoirse. CKUT spoke with Andrea Summers part of Canadian Boat to Gaza is one of 11 core organizers across supporting the Freedom Waves to Gaza.
