City-wide rally in Toronto, in solidarity with Gaza

 

CKUT correspondent Vanessa Vyvial speaks to Andrew, a member of the Coalition against Israeli Apartheid. On November 24th, a city-wide rally in solidarty with Gaza took place. The march was called for by a broad coalition of Palestine solidarity, anti-war, and social justice community groups to denounce the Harper government's support of Israel's aggresion against the Palestinian people that have put them in danger. Furthermore it was a call for an end to Israel's policies of collective punishment in Gaza and to continue the building of the Palestininan led global campaign for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS).
